The Youth Ministry Director provides relational and ministry leadership for junior high and high school students, their families, and Youth Ministry servants. This role is focused on helping students take their next step in loving and following Jesus through discipleship, relationships, weekly gatherings, and ministry events.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, care for, train, and develop Youth Ministry servants

• Provide leadership for weekly junior high and high school gatherings

• Help plan and oversee games, worship, teaching, small groups, and transitions

• Build meaningful relationships with students and help them grow spiritually

• Follow up with new or disconnected students

• Plan and lead camps, retreats, service projects, outreach events, mission opportunities, and social gatherings

• Build trust with parents and caregivers

• Partner with the Next Gen Pastor on teaching, discipleship strategy, and student care

• Collaborate with other ministry leaders on communication, registration, and event logistics

• Help create a healthy ministry culture of teamwork, preparation, accountability, and spiritual growth

• Spiritually mature and actively following Jesus

• Passionate about student discipleship

• Relational and approachable

• Comfortable working with both teenagers and adults

• Able to lead, encourage, and develop servants

• Strong communication skills

• Dependable, organized, and able to follow through

• Teachable, collaborative, and comfortable receiving feedback

• Able to balance fun, relationships, and spiritual purpose

• Alignment with the vision and values of Restored Community Church

Schedule & Ministry Rhythm

This role includes regular involvement in weekly youth gatherings, camps, retreats, outreach events, service projects, and other ministry activities. Some evening and weekend availability is required.

The Youth Ministry Director will work closely with the Next Gen Pastor and other ministry leaders and will receive regular support, coaching, and collaboration.
