Greetings friend,

Debbie and I are back from our respite. We had a wonderful time together relaxing, reconnecting, and reflecting on some of God’s blessings and goodness in our lives. We’ve recharged our batteries and have returned with great energy and focus on the ministries God’s called us to steward. We missed all of you, especially during the weekend. We are so grateful to be able to stay connected online, but there’s nothing quite like being together in person.

Thanks to Pastors Collins and Moffett for bringing the Word, and to all the servants who keep our church moving ahead!

Debbie and I are looking forward to seeing each of you this weekend as we jump back into 1 John. The world and the enemy are always pulling at us and luring us away from the protection of God so we must guard against being led away from truth. The Apostle warns us not to love the world, which is dying, but to abide in Jesus Christ who delivers eternal life to all who trust in Him. I look forward to our time in the Word.

A few weeks ago, we announced that we would be hosting a movie night on March 8th but we’ve had a change in plans. Fear not though, plans for another movie night are in the works, and we plan to reschedule Letter to the American Church later this summer.

Finally, I want to remind you that Easter arrives early this year (4 weeks away) and I want to challenge you to bring someone to church that you know needs the Lord, and/or a place to worship, grow, and serve. It’s not to early to ask someone if they’d join you for the celebration of the greatest day in history, the day Jesus arose from the grave! And because He lives, we can live too! There’s no better opportunity for an unsaved person to hear the Gospel than on Resurrection weekend! In the weeks to come, we will provide you with a beautiful invitation you can hand out to your guests. See? We’ve made it simple and easy for you!
