Vacation Bible School is a huge success! Each day, over 120 kiddos heard the Gospel through stories, music, skits, and games, and several of them made a commitment to follow Jesus! All praise to God! This Sunday, in Luke 19, we look at 3 of Jesus’ main ministries to mankind: Savior, Rewarder, and King in a message I’ve titled – The Jerusalem Solution. Vacation Bible School is almost here! 50% more kids have signed up from our community this year so it will be our largest VBS ever. Praise God! We’re looking for a few more adults to oversee the groups (no teaching required) and to just keep a guard out for them. Just imagine, for a moment, dozens of these kids hearing that Jesus loves them and wants them to come to Him, and them responding by giving their hearts and lives to Him!150 children from surrounding communities will hear the story of the Gospel in a clear and age-appropriate presentation led by our own Steve Bender! Please be in prayer. It all begins this coming Monday at 9am!

Celebrate America was a huge success. What an amazing day God gave us to worship and thank Him for our country! Hundreds of vets and first responders attended, and we honored them with a medal and a free lunch. The Restored Choir and Worship Team brought beautiful patriotic music to life. I preached a message called America, the Prodigal Nation using Luke 15 - the story of the Prodigal Son. The Gospel was preached to well over a thousand people in attendance! May God cause many seeds to grow!
Thank you to the hundred+ servants for making this day happen. Thanks to the many car/truck owners who made the car show fantastic! To the food trucks, you all brought amazing food and kept it coming! Many thanks to The Idaho District 5 VFW Honor Guard who posted colors for us!
A Big thanks to the RCC Women’s ministry for serving free apple pie! Yum! And to all who attended, THANK YOU for honoring God, Country, and THOSE WHO SERVE(D) all of us!

This coming Sunday is our Celebrate America service at RCC. As a reminder, we only have one service time at 10am. Remember to park at Eagle High School and take the 60-Second Shuttle over to church! We have some very special moments both during and after the service which include the Restored Choir, Patriotic Music, Honor Guard, Flyover, Car-Show, 7 Food Trucks, Apple Pie, a Special Message – America, The Prodigal Nation, and so much more.
Please be in prayer for the lost souls who are coming to this event, that The Spirit will be working even now in their hearts. Additionally, please pray for clear weather. There’s a chance for rain so please be in prayer all week! Thank you in advance!

A Night of Laughter with Jeff Allen Friday, September 11 @ 7pm. Doors open at 6pm. Christian comedian, Jeff Allen, brings his unique and funny perspective on life through his stand-up comedy. This Sunday we continue on in our study of Luke. We’ve finally reached one of my favorite chapters in all the Bible, chapter 15, which includes the story of the Prodigal Son. Several famous authors from antiquity have called this the greatest writing of human history. It would be hard to argue the statement for in it we hear a familiar story of a rebellious person getting exactly what they deserved, followed by an act of grace and mercy that no one could hope for. Come hear “The Greatest Parable Ever Told.”
Tomorrow afternoon, Friday at 3pm, we are hosting the first of 3 Restored Family Summer Nights at Eagle Island State Park, a short drive from the church. We’ll provide the hotdogs, chips and drinks, you supply yourself! Come alone or with family and/or friends.

Sunday, June 28 will be ONE SINGLE SERVICE @ 10am!! Parking will be at the north end of Eagle High School. Take the 60-second shuttle over to RCC and be dropped off right in front of our outdoor stage and seating. We’ll have church outside with many special moments added in! We’ll be joined by the Restored Choir, proclaim God’s faithful provision for our country, celebrate the men and women who’ve served this great land and ensure many of our freedoms – active and retired military vets, police, fire, and paramedics. We’ll have a military flyover with WWII fighter planes, 7 food trucks, apple pie (thank you ladies) and a car show out front along with lots of fellowship at our food grotto. Please Pray for, Invite, and Bring people who need Jesus as this will be a powerful outreach event in our valley! Pick up a hand flier in the lobby this weekend!

This Sunday we are in Luke 11 and Jesus has some advice on how to pray, as well as some stark criticism for false teachers. I hope to see you and worship with you, together!
I want to take a moment to share an important update regarding our team and ministry staff. Someone said that the only constant in life is change and God is about to lead us into a new chapter here at Restored. Nicole, our wonderfully gifted, and ever-faithful Worship Leader-friend has sensed God calling her to step away from our team in order to be more present with her husband, Frank, and their 3 children. We will miss her on the platform but continue to worship together here as they plan on remaining part of the body here at RCC. Nicole has graciously offered to stay on while we discover God’s new provision, and we’ll be sure to celebrate the McSherry’s out when that time comes. God’s been faithful in the past, and He will be faithful to us in the future. To God be the glory!

Tomorrow (Thursday) night is The National Day of Prayer down at the Capitol at 6pm. Myself, and other pastors from several churches, will be leading everyone in a focused time of prayer for our nation and its leaders. I hope you can join us!
Moms! This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and I want to remind everyone to invite and/or bring to church all the moms in your life. We have a Gift for all our mothers - a new Book titled "Richer By The Dozen" by a dear friend and passionate mother of 12 - Pam Mutz.
Ladies, Pam will also be here in person the following weekend, and this Sunday is the last Sunday to register in the lobby or online at our website.

This coming Sunday we’ll be in Luke chapter 9 of our verse-by-verse study in this powerful gospel. Jesus sent out the twelve disciples to preach the Gospel and to heal those who were sick. What an amazing adventure this must have been for these young men; the stories they must have carried with them in the difficult years that lay ahead! And who could ever forget the feeding of the 5,000! I hope you can make it this Sunday.

For parents with children, we will have an age-appropriate light-hearted movie showing in the youth center, as well as a game night for the youth as alternatives. Megan Tibbits Live-in-concert at RCC Sunday, May 31. Megan will join us in both services in the morning and return to a concert the same night at 7pm. Megan plays many instruments, including a concert harp, and her voice is angelic! She sings old hymns, as well as Christian jazz genres. This is a free event so bring your family and friends for a wonderful night of worship in music!

Hi friend,
Next Sunday we’ll be in chapter 8 in our verse-by-verse study of Luke and we’ll continue to see Jesus casting out demons, healing a woman, and raising a man’s daughter back to life. Jesus continues to reveal that He is the Son of God to all around Him in order that they might believe. While many do believe, many times more do not. We’ll hear why in the parable about the Sower, the Seed, and the Soil. I hope to see you then.
