Hi friend,
Debbie and I enjoyed some R&R on the beautiful island of Kauai. God is certainly the Master Creator, and we witnessed, first-hand, His artistry on display in so many ways! While we were there, we took many deep breaths and long walks (forced exercise?), as we took in the natural beauty.
But we’re back with a passion to step into all that God has for us personally, and as a church in 2026. He has big plans for us this year!
I want to thank pastors John Collins and Bill Stovall for holding down the teaching while I was gone.
Before I left, I gave us an overview of the Book of Luke and this coming Sunday I am excited to begin chapter one of this powerful Gospel. I’m titling this new series “A Doctor’s Look at the Great Physician.” This week, my message is called “A Contrast of Faith”. Dr. Luke begins his account of the life of Jesus Christ by contrasting two birth announcements and how each person received the news from God’s angelic messenger.
I hope you’ll come to church to worship our God and Savior, and for the fellowship with other saints. It’s just not the same when you’re not here!
Upcoming Events:
Men’s Potluck Breakfast Saturday, February 28 @ 9am. Come hear the powerful testimony of speaker - Chris Smith. He’ll share how God met him in a prison cell and redeemed Chris for His purpose and mission. Sign up in the lobby this Sunday or online.

Thanks for staying InTouch!

Merry Christmas friend,
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we are filled with gratitude for the love, faith, and community that make Restored Community Church such a special place. Christmas reminds us that “… the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14), and we are thankful to walk this journey of faith together with you. Our staff would love to share a special Christmas message with you.
May the peace of Christ fill your hearts, your homes, and your gathe4rings this Christmas season. We pray God’s richest blessings over you and your family as we celebrate His greatest gift.
Thanks for staying In Touch,
Pastor Ben
Hello friend,
Can you believe we are just days away from Christmas?? Wow! I hope you’re ready to celebrate this amazing event in human history – God becoming flesh! And I hope your celebration plans include coming to church this Sunday to worship God in both song and time in His word. I’ve titled my message “Christmas, Through the Eyes of the Wise.” I know you’ll enjoy praising God through the amazing Christmas songs that Nicole has planned for us, as well as learning about some very special guests that visited Jesus after He was born.
And here’s a service you definitely don’t want to miss; RCC’s Annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service! This year we’ll feature a live nativity along with the word-for-word story of the birth of our Savior and sing several Christmas carols that will warm your heart just before the big day. I hope you can be at one of the two special services on December 24th at 3pm and 6pm.
Upcoming Events:
Vision Dessert 2026 is on Sunday, January 11 @ 4pm. Come celebrate what God has done in and through our church in 2025 and come hear the vision we believe God has for us in 2026. Each year we invite people to host a table by bringing a favorite dessert to share with 6 other people. We’ll provide coffee, water, and place-settings. If you can host that night, please register here - https://restored-community

Greetings friend,
I’m sad and frustrated to have to warn people about a scammer who is currently attempting to defraud people at RCC. They’ve set up a fictitious email account with my name and are asking people to purchase gift cards for needy people at Christmas. That’s low, even for scammers… Please don’t respond to them in any way.
In others news…. This Sunday in our Christmas series called “Through Their Eyes” we’ll take a look at the story through the eyes of the Shepherds who had a unique, and unforgettable experience that night to say the least! I hope you can join us for this special message and the Restored Christmas Choir!
Coming Events:
Our 9th annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is almost here, and our team is hard at work making it an unforgettable evening of worshiping and celebration of the birth of our Messiah, Jesus Christ! I hope you can make one of the two services at 3 or 6 pm! And remember, this is the perfect time to invite that person you know who needs Jesus! Debbie and I have given out 7 Christmas invite booklets so far and the response we’ve received from each person has been really great. At one of my favorite restaurants, I’ve had 3 different servers wait on me over the last month. Last Wednesday, I started to engage the server with the booklet, and she interrupted me with “Wait a minute, you’re the pastor, right?” I guess other servers had talked amongst their selves about the pastor who’s giving away a twenty-dollar bill along with a book and an invitation to a Christmas service! She said some of the staff might come together to see what it’s about. God is so good! I hope you’ll find someone to give your invitation to soon. It’s actually fun to do.
Looking ahead to our annual Vision Dessert 2026 January 11! Each year we ask table hostesses to bring a delicious dessert to share with 7 other people. The evening is a time when we thank God for His past blessings and faithfulness and take a peek at where God seems to be calling us to work in the coming year. You can sign up on our website to attend, or you can register to bring a dessert, too. This is always a really special evening!
Be sure and check out the Men’s and Women’s Bible studies beginning in January and sign up for the one that tickles your fancy! You can get all the information online or in this Sunday’s bulletin.
The Restored Israel Tour is almost full. We have 5 seats left. The tour begins April 21 and concludes May 1, 2026. Come see your Bible come alive right before your eyes. For more info go to Inspirationtravel.com/Restored
May your thoughts and heart be ever on the Christ-Child turned Savior of the world.
Thanks for staying InTouch,
Pastor Ben

Greetings friend,
As I write this note to you, Thanksgiving is just hours away from us. I hope and pray that you’ve made a list of things for which you can be thankful. God has been so good to Debbie’s and my family, and He’s been so faithful and gracious to His church at RCC. Part of my Thanksgiving prayers will include you and the many others who live far and near to Restored. Thank you for the faithful gifts of your Time, Talent, and Treasure over the years! You are a part of our story of God’s blessings through people like you and we both love and appreciate you, dearly.
This coming Sunday marks the beginning of our church’s celebration of the Christmas season! Just wait until you see what the Décor Team has done to the lobby and Worship Center! It’s so beautiful! This year I’ve chosen the theme of our Christmas messages to be “Through Their Eyes” as we look at each of the four major participants in the greatest story ever told – the birth of our Savior, Jesus. This Sunday my message is titled “Through Mary’s Eyes.” I hope you can come to experience The Reason For The Season in person. We would love to see you!

This is for the whole family so bring and invite everyone you know who loves Christmas. This is a FREE event. No registration necessary.

This will be an evening you won’t soon forget as it points us back to The Reason For The Season, Jesus our Lord and Savior. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring people who need The Lord, to a visual presentation of The Gospel! Invite them for sure; Bring them if you can!

Thanks for staying InTouch,
Pastor Ben
Greetings friend,
It was a privilege to take you through the Book of Hebrews over these past several months. My hope and prayer are that you’ve grown in your knowledge and wisdom of who Jesus is that your obedience to God’s word will grow, too.
Jesus is Better!
This Sunday we’ll look at how you can share your faith – the reason for reaching out with the Gospel, and even some practical mechanics – word pictures – of how to casually but effectively share Christ with someone.
I have two quick reminders for you this week:
1. Tonight is Servant Appreciation Dessert. If you serve in some capacity at RCC we want to serve you with an evening of fun, fellowship, and a sweet treat. Come as you are! Your Pastors and staff will take care of the rest!
2. Just a reminder that if you want to bring a frozen turkey to share with someone else in need this Thanksgiving, bring it to either the 9am or 11am service and we’ll make sure it blesses someone in the name of Christ.
Have a great weekend. We’re praying for you!
Pastor Ben
Dear Restored Family,
As many of you know, the recent government shutdown has created challenges for families in our community who rely on SNAP benefits to make ends meet. During this time, we have a wonderful opportunity to come together and be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.
We’re partnering with the Eagle Foodbank to help provide food for our neighbors who may be struggling. We’re asking everyone to bring in bags of non-perishable food items over the next two Sundays. Every can, box, or bag makes a difference and reminds someone that they are not forgotten.
You can drop off your donations in the church lobby before or after service. Our goal is simple—to share the love of Christ through practical generosity and to help meet a real need in our community.
Thank you for your continued compassion and willingness to serve. Together, we can shine His light and bring hope where it’s needed most.
With gratitude,
Pastor Ben
