Greetings friend,
As we continue in our study of 1 John, we’ve seen how the disciple contrasts key concepts such as LIGHT & DARKNESS; LOVE & HATE; TRUTH & LIES and now in our passage we’ll see the difference between GENUINE & COUNTERFEIT faith. While Jesus offers truth; the devil works overtime attempting to trick us into a false faith that will not save a person. This weekend I’ll reveal what every Christ-follower possesses that takes them from trickery to victory in a sermon called, 3 Advantages of the Overcomer. I hope to see you in one of our services!
This Sunday I want to encourage everyone that hasn’t yet attended our Shop Talk class to come and discover how our church began, the gifts God’s given you to use, and where you might deploy them here at RCC. The meeting begins at 8am in the heated tent. I hope you can make it.
Who’s Your One? Easter is just around the corner, and I want to encourage you to invite someone to come hear the greatest story ever told. I encourage you to pray and ask God to put on your heart at least one person who you know needs Jesus or isn’t currently attending a Christ-centered church. This weekend we will have an official invitation which you can use to place in the hands of that person. Remember, Easter Changes Everything!
I want to thank all our faithful financial givers at RCC. As we draw closer to the end of our construction of the Restored Life Center, we are making critical decisions in order to stay on budget and your faithfulness helps us decide what we’re able to do. If you haven’t yet given to the work, I want to encourage you to do so as God leads. Our best days are ahead of us if we stay right behind Him!
