At the close of each summer, we host an event called Back To Church Sunday which is designed to bring us all back together again as a church as well as offer a great tool to invite people we know who aren’t saved, or who are looking for a place to worship.

This year is no different and we’ve designed a great opportunity for outreach to our local communities. We’re calling it “Back To Church Sunday – Restored Car Show”. The date is Sunday, August 25. We’ll hold our regularly scheduled worship services and this year the topic will be on Heaven; something that’s on a lot of people’s minds these days. What is heaven, and how do you get to go there? What a powerful Sunday to invite our unsaved friends! Then, after each service, we’re hosting a car show out in the parking lot. Additionally, we have a couple of food trucks who will be joining us so mom can have the day off. Just come and enjoy, and remember to invite some people who need salvation, or a solid Bible teaching church! Each year Debbie and I take time off to spend time together – Just the two of us. That sounds like the lyrics for a great song! This year we’re enjoying time reconnecting and recharging our batteries for the fall kick-off of ministry. We’re so excited for this opportunity but don’t fret, we’ll be online viewers!

In our absence, I’ve asked Pastor Cole and Pastor Matt to each bring a message from the Word. I look forward to hearing what God lays on their hearts.

This Sunday, Pastor Cole will teach through the Book of Jonah. Cole is our youth pastor and has a great Jonah-like testimony to share with everyone. With topics like, “You can’t Outrun God’s Love” and “A Christian Who Listens – Is a Christian On Mission” your heart is sure to be stirred. You won’t want to miss this!

Did you know that RCC has an amazing preschool led by Ms. Vicki? Registration for the fall at Restored Christian Preschool is open and we have a limited number of spaces available for students. The 3-year-old classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The 4-year-old classes are held Tuesdays – Fridays. Register online or contact the church office for more information.

Men’s Study: Wednesday Nights begin September 4 @ 7pm – Agents of Babylon: 12-week study in Daniel. Register online!

Second Chapter Women – Kick-off Tea is Saturday, August 17 @ 11am. This is RCC’s newest ministry. It’s geared towards women who’ve experienced the loss of their spouse. Register online or in the lobby this Sunday.

Women’s Studies: Thursdays beginning September 5, Mornings 9:30am and Evenings 7pm - Obadiah & Joel. Additionally, Evenings 7pm -A topical study Worship – From Eden to Eternity Sign up online!

Child Dedication Sunday is August 18 in the 9am service. Register online for the Pre-class on August 11 @ 12:30pm after services.

Baptism Sunday: August 11. Register online to be baptized.
