Wow, the snow I ordered for Christmas finally made it here! Better late than never. I Love it.

This Sunday we’re in chapter 2 of Ephesians and Paul will reveal the ugly truth of who we were before Jesus, and the amazing truth of who God is. Only God could take sinners and change them on the inside in order to make them better than new! In truth, we were in the graveyard but because of Jesus’ victory over sin, God’s amazing grace, and the power of The Spirit, we can be made holy. I’ve called my message “From Graveyard to Glory”. I hope to see you this weekend!

Last Sunday I taught an introduction lesson on the Book-Letter of Ephesians. The letter was written by the Apostle Paul around 60 A.D. to the Greek Christian church in the city of Ephesus on the eastern shore of the Aegean Sea. The purpose? To tell them about the awesome ransom that was paid on their behalf and the blessings which accompanied the gift given to all believers in Christ. There… you’re all caught up. Lord willing, I’ll see you this Sunday at 9 or 11am for the second installment of The King’s Ransom series.

This Sunday afternoon we’ll be hosting our 8th annual Vision 2025 Dessert at our church. I always look forward to this time together and this year we have a special twist to it. First, we’ll enjoy some great desserts and then we’ll hear the passion of some of our ministry leaders and what’s happening in the Kidz and Youth, as well as Men’s and Women’s ministry for 2025.

Restored Community Church is asking God for the best path to take for us to help the many lives devastated by these many fires, and we’ll ask other churches here in our valley to join in on a loving response which includes tangible gifts through local churches there in the affected communities. I would ask you to pause regularly in your day and lift the many victims up who’ve lost loved ones, homes, and memories to the flames. Pray for the many pastors and churches rallying right now in order to show the beautiful hands and feet of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hello friend,

Wow! What a December we had! We celebrated the birth of Jesus by looking at The Heart of Christmas, by singing some of the traditional carols, and the Candlelight service was the most amazing one in our 8 years of church-life! I hope you were able to attend all or some of these events. Last Sunday we hosted Leanna Crawford for two services in the morning where she sang her new song – Still Waters – based on Psalm 23 and I had the opportunity of preaching on the chapter right afterwards. Then, Sunday night, Leanna came back for a concert and blessed our socks off! What a godly young woman she is. Her team, along with her husband, former NBA player Cody Zeller, were truly inspiring, as well.

Hello friend,

Wow! What a Candlelight Service! I was blown away by the incredible gifts and talents of our production team, RCC Worship, parking team, safety team, greeters, hospitality team, and all the rest of y’all (750+)! Of course, a big shout out to our forever musician/friend – Uriel Vega and his wife Kenya! You all made the celebration of Jesus’ Birth so amazing as we honored our Father, and His Son’s arrival almost 2,000 years ago. If you didn’t get to attend, you can watch it by clicking here.

But wait! There’s more worship of our Lord, along with family and fellowship, to be had!

This Sunday morning, we welcome Leanna Crawford to our morning services at 9am and 11am where she’ll be singing her new song – Still Waters. I’ll follow up with a message called Psalm 23 – Through the Eyes of the Shepherd. I hope you can join us!

Then, Sunday night at 7pm Leanna, along with her band and RCC Worship led by Nicole, will be joining us for our first indoor concert ever at RCC! Doors open at 6:15pm and seating is on a first-come basis. This is a free event.

This Sunday is our final Christmas message. I’ve titled it “The Heart of Christmas – Love”. Love was the motivating factor for God sending down His one and only Son to a lowly manger in Bethlehem some 2,000 years ago. I hope to see you Sunday as we open God’s Word, study it, and come to understand how to apply it to our lives. We have Hope, Peace, and Joy because God so loved us…

Additionally, this Sunday we’ll be joined by our friend and music artist – Uriel Vega! His saxophone just warms up our worship! Uriel will be in both Sunday services, and he’ll return for Christmas Eve service Tuesday, December 24 @ 4pm. This is an evening your family and friends will enjoy and remember for a long time.

We are in the middle of our new series called, “The Heart of Christmas”. We began with the heart of Hope and last week we looked at the heart of Peace. This Sunday we’ll continue by examining the heart of Joy where we’ll look at joy through the lens’ of Psalm 126, as well as a few of Paul’s experiences. Joy is not a result of our circumstances, but rather a heart set on God and His presence in whatever is going on in our lives. I hope you can be in church for this joy-filled message!

Last week we celebrated our first Christmas service in the new Worship Center! We enjoyed the beautiful decorations, we sang some wonderful Christmas songs, and we looked at the topic of Hope in the Heart of Christmas during our time in the Word.

This week we look at Peace through the Prince of Peace – Jesus, God’s gift to us! I hope I’ll see you at one of our services this Sunday.

Our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is almost here! I’ve invited our good friend, Uriel Vega and his saxophone, to come and celebrate the birth of Christ with us. Uriel brings such a wonderful and warm vibe to our worship time, and you won’t want to miss it on Tuesday, December 24 at 4pm in our new Worship Center. This is an awesome family event! Childcare will be available for kids 3 and under. I hope you’ll invite some friends to join you.
