Hello friend,
Last Monday I took care of a 25-year-old injury from my K-9 days by having total shoulder replacement. While I’m in pain now, I trust that God will heal me up so I can keep going with the calling He’s given me. To that end, I want to thank everyone who’s been praying for my recovery. Your prayers are already being felt in real ways! Thank you for your faithfulness!
As summer draws down and fall quickly approaches, I want to remind you of some really wonderful opportunities we have for outreach into our communities.
Friday, September 11 @ 7pm we’re hosting Christian comedian Jeff Allen. Jeff has a way of connecting humor to truth in hysterical ways. He also has a really powerful testimony of how he went from being an atheist, to a born-again believer. This night will be the perfect time to invite the atheist or agnostic in your life out to laugh, think, and reconsider their beliefs about God and salvation. Don’t wait until after the event and say “I wish I had brought so-and-so tonight. This could have been the moment they made a U-turn in their life!” Copy the video-link, paste it into an email, and use it to invite that person to join you. It could change their eternity!
Saturday September 5 @ 11:30 the guys are hosting a Men’s Tailgate Party for the Boise game against Oregon State. Bring a chair and something to share!
