Greetings friend,

Easter was a wonderful and record-breaking Sunday at Restored. It was a blessing to hear our worship and ensemble teams, to read the account of the first resurrection Sunday from Luke, and to host the most attended Sunday services we’ve ever had at RCC! God is so good!

This Sunday we’re back in Luke as we see Jesus, Our Compassionate Savior in Luke chapter 7. I hope to see you in-person as we open God’s Word together.

Hello friend,

Good Friday Service @ 7pm.Come hear the verse-by-verse reading of Jesus’ final hours before the cross. Follow Him from the Upper Room to Golgotha, and onto the tomb. Doors open at 6pm.

Easter Sunday is said to be the most attended church service of the year. I ask you to pray for the church at RCC, as well as the global church, that many would hear a clear presentation of the Gospel and respond to the Savior’s call. We have some great plans to tell the old, old, story of Jesus and His love! We’ll be joined by our gifted worship team, as well as The Restored Ensemble with an amazing song!

Additionally, Resurrection Sunday is a wonderful time for our young families, as well. Right after each service, families are invited to join us for our Annual Great Balloon Grab! Kids will pick up a ticket from their classroom, then head outside with their family to find the balloon that matches their number. Once they find it, they’ll turn it in to receive a fun prize! This is a high-energy, family-friendly event, and every child gets to participate - so be sure to stick around after service and join in the fun!

Hello friend,

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and we’ll be joined by the RCC Choir! I can’t wait to hear the best lil’ choir in Idaho! They are such a blessing! After that, we begin Passion Week. I recorded a video for each of the 5-days leading up to Resurrection Sunday and I’ll post them, one a day, on FaceBook, Instagram, and You Tube. Each day I’ll summarize what took place so that we can focus on the final hours of our Savior’s life and remember His passion for paying our debt.

This year I decided to look at a powerful moment in time after Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, but before He was arrested. Some Greek men had come desiring to meet Jesus and Jesus made a powerful statement that I want to look at closely in a message I’m calling – A Love That Suffers. I hope to see you with Bible in hand and a smile on our faces.

Next Friday, of course, is Good Friday and we’ve planned a very special moment of worship aspause to remember the cost of our salvation which Jesus made on our behalf. It begins at 7pm and should finish by 8:15pm. I hope you’ll plan on coming to worship our Lord in music and the reading of the word. Kidz Care is available for birth through 5 yrs.

Upcoming Events:
Easter, Sunday April 5 at 9a and 11a. So far, we’ve seen over 300 Easter invite booklets go out the door. This is a reminder to put them in the hands of people that God brings your way; family, friends, neighbor, or anyone else you know. You could be the catalyst that brings someone to Jesus! Wouldn’t that be amazing?

August 6-7 RCC is a host-sight for The Global Leadership Summit! Come get equipped to lead where you are at. This is a premier leadership event worldwide. Register on our website.

Have a great week and I’ll see you Sunday!

Greetings friend,

God is so good and so great that it makes me want to sing! Fortunately, this Friday, March 13 @ 7pm we have a really wonderful time to lift up the name of Jesus together! It’s called Night of Worship featuring our own amazing, and much-beloved, RCC Worship Team! Come hear how the scriptures have influenced the worship music that we offer up to the Lord in song each and every Sunday. Sing old familiar favorites, and leave with a fresh new song you didn’t know beforehand. And, as always, bless the Lord, oh my soul, and lift up His holy name!

This Sunday my message is called: Making it Better - 4 Ways Jesus Heals Hurt. We’ll be in Chapter 5 where we’ll see Jesus transform failure into triumph; we’ll meet a leper in need of a touch from the Great Healer; next, we’ll witness the love of four friends for their paralytic friend; and finally, it’s out with the old, and in with the new. I hope to see you with smiles on our faces, and Bibles in our hands.

Easter Week is almost here! This year it begins with Palm Sunday March 29, moves on to our Good Friday service at 7pm featuring the story of the Lord’s final moments before the cross, and culminates with the crescendo of Easter morning!

Upcoming Events:
Ladies, it’s time to meet some new best-friends! Brunch Bunch is a time for ladies to meet up for a time of fellowship, fun, and food! You can host a home, or just come and check one out. We have brunches available in various host-homes open on March 20, 21, 27, or 28 from 10am to Noon. Register in the lobby this weekend, or online here.

Want to make some new connections with other RCC’ers? Join a Restored Life Group. Life Groups meet weekly in various homes, in various cities, at various times. Some even host kids. For more information you can talk to someone in the lobby or go to our webpage Life Groups.

Do you love to pray? Pray It Up is a vital prayer ministry that meets every Saturday at 8am right here at RCC. Find more info online!

May the Lord richly bless you and give you peace! See you Sunday!

Hello friend,

Pastor Bill and I have returned from The Global Leadership Summit for pastors in Washington DC. What a lineup of speakers! We were so blessed to sit under some great teaching on the topic of leadership God’s way.

This Sunday, we open chapter 3 of Luke with a trial! You will be jurors deciding if there’s evidence to convict Jesus as being the Son of God. Many today say that He was a great teacher but that the Bible never called Jesus God. Come decide for yourself! All Rise!

The State Legislature and Governor have requested that Idaho Christians pray this Sunday for our country and state; that God would calm the violent protests, thwart evil terrorist attacks against our nation, and that the church would stand up and speak out at this pivotal time in our history. Additionally, we’re asked to pray for God’s hand to provide the life-giving snow and water that sustains our homes, lives, and agriculture here in Idaho. We are at dangerously low snow-pack levels. I’m inviting you to include all of these critical needs as you pray this Sunday.

Tomorrow (Saturday) at 9a.m. I want to remind all the men of our Men’s Potluck Breakfast. We have a really great speaker – Chris Smith – who has a testimony of going from prison to pastor after surrendering to and following Jesus. THIS WILL BE A GREAT EVENT TO BRING YOUR UNSAVED FRIEND OF FAMILY MEMBER TO!

Upcoming Events:

Shop Talk - Sunday, March 8 @ 12:30p.m. after services. You’re invited to come hear the story of how God called Pastor Ben and Debbie to plant Restored in Idaho, where He’s working right now, and how you can get involved in the mission of our church!  A light lunch will be provided. Please sign up here.

Save The Date - Night of Worship Friday, March 13 from 7p.m. – 8:30p.m.

Share Your Faith WorkshopThe 3 Circles – begins Sunday, March 15 @ 9a.m. in Room B, upstairs. Come learn an easy way to share your faith with others. Register online.

May the Lord bless you. And may we bless God for His many blessings to us.

Thanks for staying InTouch,

Hi friend,

Debbie and I enjoyed some R&R on the beautiful island of Kauai. God is certainly the Master Creator, and we witnessed, first-hand, His artistry on display in so many ways! While we were there, we took many deep breaths and long walks (forced exercise?), as we took in the natural beauty.

But we’re back with a passion to step into all that God has for us personally, and as a church in 2026. He has big plans for us this year!

I want to thank pastors John Collins and Bill Stovall for holding down the teaching while I was gone.

Before I left, I gave us an overview of the Book of Luke and this coming Sunday I am excited to begin chapter one of this powerful Gospel. I’m titling this new series “A Doctor’s Look at the Great Physician.” This week, my message is called “A Contrast of Faith”.  Dr. Luke begins his account of the life of Jesus Christ by contrasting two birth announcements and how each person received the news from God’s angelic messenger.

I hope you’ll come to church to worship our God and Savior, and for the fellowship with other saints. It’s just not the same when you’re not here!

 Upcoming Events:

Men’s Potluck Breakfast Saturday, February 28 @ 9am. Come hear the powerful testimony of speaker - Chris Smith. He’ll share how God met him in a prison cell and redeemed Chris for His purpose and mission. Sign up in the lobby this Sunday or online.

Women’s PM Topical Bible Study The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer begins Thursday nights, February 26 to May 28 at 7 – 8:30pm. Bring a friend to this wonderful study! Sign up in the lobby or online.

Grief Share class begins Monday nights, February 24, from 7 to 9pm upstairs in Room B. Come find hope and healing after the loss of a loved one. Cost is $25 and includes a workbook. Please register online.

I hope to see you on Sunday!

 Thanks for staying InTouch!
