Bulletproof is BACK! And it begins this Wednesday night, June 11, with food trucks! Bulletproof is our summer Bible study where the whole family is invited to come and study God’s Word TOGETHER! Children learn age-appropriate lessons in the Kid’s classrooms while the youth and parents are in the Worship Center sitting at tables with their Bibles opened up. This year the study is called – Living Victoriously in Difficult Times by Precept Ministries. Come and learn together as a family or as a single. Study guides are $8 and will have plenty on hand this Wednesday. Just bring your own pencil and Bible!
Father’s Day is just around the corner and you’re invited to our celebration of fatherhood. I have a special message for that Sunday, and a special gift for you that will bless your pallet and your soul. Be sure to invite all the dads and granddads, step-dads or those who’ve stepped in as a dad in your life to this special event on Sunday, June 15 at both services. We have some really great gifts to celebrate all the fathers!
There are a lot of wonderful things happening this summer at Restored. First, a much-loved musician by the name of Jordan Feliz has agreed to come to our church for a concert on Friday, June 27 @ 7pm! I hope you’ll plan to come and invite a friend or family who hasn’t connected with a church here in Idaho. Admission is free with a bag of groceries to feed the hungry.
Each year one of the most-impactful events we host is our Celebrate America service. This year it falls on Sunday, June 29 at both of 9am and 11am hours. This is the weekend where we give thanks to God for this great nation He established 249 years ago! Included in this celebration is our appreciation of those who’ve served our country, be it in the military, or as a first responder as a cop, firefighter, or paramedic. This part of the service is so full of emotion and appreciation but we need your help. If you, or a loved one has served in the above capacity, would you upload a photo of them to the web-address listed here. All photos must be submitted by June Sunday, June 15th! We would love to honor all of our RCC heroes!
RCC’s Vacation Bible School is called Kidz Quest and it runs 5 mornings from 9 to noon beginning July 21 -25. We’re in need of several more servants who can help set up, encourage kids, or sing along with the children. Imagine getting to be a part of introducing kids to Christ! Restored Family Summer Nights! Each month during the summer we’ll gather RCC families for fun, fellowship, and food. All ages welcome! We provide the hot dogs, and you bring your own drinks. Our first evening is Friday, June 13, 3pm – 7pm at Eagle Island State Park. Hope you can make it!
