This weekend we have a full worship-card with the Jordan Feliz concert tonight (Friday @ 7) and our 8th annual Celebrate America services on Sunday. Come early to the concert, and don’t forget a donation of non-perishable food items. Doors open at 6pm.
 
God has been so very gracious to our country, and America was founded and sustained by His good grace for our people. Much to the disappointment of a former and recent president, we WERE founded on many of the principles found in God’s Word.
 
Every Fourth of July we hear the word “Freedom” tossed around a lot, but what does it mean for Christ-followers? What is it, and where does it come from? This Sunday I’ll share some thoughts from Galatians 5 that provide a great foundational answer as to how to live in true freedom. I hope you can come and even bring someone – especially those who’ve served in the armed forces or as first responder (police. – fire – emergency medical) who need an encounter with Jesus.
 
Upcoming Events:
RCC’s Vacation Bible School is called Kidz Quest, and it runs 5 mornings from 9am to noon beginning July 21 -25. Be sure to go to our website and signup your children ASAP! Also, we’re in need of a few more servants who can help set up, encourage kids, or sing along with the children. Imagine getting to be a part of introducing kids to Christ!  You can sign up online right here.
 
Restored Family Summer Nights! Each month during the summer we’ll gather RCC families for fun, fellowship, and food. All ages welcome! We provide hot dogs, and you bring your own drinks. Our next evening is Friday, July 18, 3pm – 7pm at Eagle Island State Park. Hope you can make it!
