Greetings friend,
This coming Sunday we’ll be in Luke chapter 9 of our verse-by-verse study in this powerful gospel. Jesus sent out the twelve disciples to preach the Gospel and to heal those who were sick. What an amazing adventure this must have been for these young men; the stories they must have carried with them in the difficult years that lay ahead! And who could ever forget the feeding of the 5,000! I hope you can make it this Sunday.
Coming Events:
Movie Night Friday, April 24 @ RCC! We invite you to come see the new movie – Still Hope based on the true story of human trafficked survivors. Parental Discretion is Advised – PG-13. After the movie, we’ll be joined by our new ministry partners – Ruth and Paula – from Idaho C.O.B.S. (Creating Opportunities Beyond Survival) for a 15-minute introduction. For parents with children, we will have an age-appropriate light-hearted movie showing in the youth center, as well as a game night for the youth as alternatives. Come early and enjoy dinner from our food truck (4:30-6pm). Register here for tickets.
National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 7 @ 6pm! Join us, and many other churches, down at the capital to pray for our nation and our leaders. I’ll be one of the pastors leading us in prayer, and our own Nicole will lead us in the singing of our National Anthem. I hope you can join us as God’s Church gets together to life up America!
