Brothers and sisters,

Our hearts and prayers are with the countless fire victims across southern California, right now. Our church, and our prayer team are actively praying for you and for the innumerable first responders who many of which are risking their own lives in order to help those they’ve made an oath to protect and serve.

Restored Community Church is asking God for the best path to take for us to help the many lives devastated by these many fires, and we’ll ask other churches here in our valley to join in on a loving response which includes tangible gifts through local churches there in the affected communities. I would ask you to pause regularly in your day and lift the many victims up who’ve lost loved ones, homes, and memories to the flames. Pray for the many pastors and churches rallying right now in order to show the beautiful hands and feet of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Father, let Your children shine bright through the flames of this tragedy. Let many see You through the many acts of service that will be made on Your behalf and in Your name. And guard Your servants with Your powerful hands. Bring communities together under the banner of Your love right now. Show Your Church both strong and generous in word and deeds. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
