This Sunday we begin a new series called “A Cry to Heaven.” Over the next few weeks, we will study the lives of some of the most well-known biblical characters in God’s Word in order to see how they fell to sin, and what they did to return to the Lord in order to walk with Him and continue on in their mission.
The many stories of fallen people like King David, and many empires bears this truth out; “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34
This Sunday we continue our study called “Scandalous” from the Book of Hosea. As you may know, the Nation of Israel had pulled away from God and the vows they had made centuries earlier after leaving Egypt in route to the Promised Land. They had taken on many of the traits and practices of their pagan neighbors and had left The Lord on the sidelines of their daily lives. Many times throughout these years God would send prophets to warn them of a coming judgement but Israel would not listen, much less obey the word of the Lord. They wanted to experience life without God. Be careful what you ask for… When the patience of God finally ran out, Israel would pay a high price as their enemies came – wiping out many thousands of Israelites, and taking many more as slaves back to their Assyrian homeland. God had warned them, but they would not listen.

Last Sunday was the largest attended church service ever at RCC! Wow! I apologize to those who arrived and couldn’t find parking onsite. Many had to park across the street and walk over and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
Greetings friend,
I want to pause to personally thank those who’ve already participated in the generous support of the Restored Life Center at RCC. The construction journey has taken longer than we anticipated, and inflation has made it more costly than originally expected, but because of the many faithful givers, we’ve been able to complete the task God has laid out for our church in Idaho. He is so good!
Greetings friend,
It’s so good to be back with the church! Debbie and I had a refreshing time away together and we’ve returned ready and raring to go again!
This Sunday we’re back in our series called What Happens Next? where we’re looking at the order of the end of time. We’re coming to a close soon and this week my message is called - A Thousand Years with The King. Have you wondered about the Millennium and what happens during these thousand years? I hope to answer some of the questions you might have about this topic and others. Hope to see you in our new Restored Life Center! (RLC)
This week, in my absence, I’ve asked Pastor Matt to bring the message. He’ll be teaching from Philippians 3 in a message titled, “There’s Giants in the Land.” We’ll be taking a look at the giants Paul identifies in us that empower believers to take on the schemes of the enemy. The giants that the enemy presents are small compared to the giants God has given us. We know that when the enemy attacks, and presents situations, he wants us to fear and fear is a liar! I hope you’ll join us this Sunday!
At the close of each summer, we host an event called Back To Church Sunday which is designed to bring us all back together again as a church as well as offer a great tool to invite people we know who aren’t saved, or who are looking for a place to worship.
This year is no different and we’ve designed a great opportunity for outreach to our local communities. We’re calling it “Back To Church Sunday – Restored Car Show”. The date is Sunday, August 25.
This coming Sunday we continue in our study, “What Happens Next?” in a series which reveals the order of the end of time. We’ve looked at the Rapture, The Ezekiel 38 War, the Arrival of Antichrist and the First half of the Tribulation, Halftime in Heaven, and now this Sunday we’ll cover Tribulations’ Second Half.
