Greetings friend,

This Sunday we continue our series called, “A Cry to Heaven.” We’re studying the lives of some of the most well-known biblical characters in God’s Word in order to see how they fell to sin, and what they did to return to the Lord in order to walk with Him and continue on in their mission.

This Sunday we’ll look at the former fisherman – Peter – and his bout with failure and how Jesus restored him back to his mission in life. How about you, have you ever experienced a failure that took you down and out for a time? Perhaps you’re there right now. I want you to know that God has not thrown you to the side. He’s waiting for you to repent, return, and be restored back to the purpose for which you were created. Everyone gets 2nd chances, and 102nd chances. Come here the message, “A Pardon for Peter” this Sunday!

As we inch closer to election day in our country, my main prayer focus is this:

  • That our church would be sharing the Gospel and making disciples of Christ.

  • That we would be in prayer for our nation right now.

  • And that we would come together as a church, God’s people, in “A Cry to Heaven.”

As most of you already know, Restored Community Church is coming together to seek God’s favor over America. In Leviticus 23:7 God instructed Moses to create Holy Convocations, or Sacred Assemblies to memorialize certain feasts and celebrations for the purpose of honoring the Lord, remembering His faithfulness, and to seek His face and guidance.
7On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.

We’re going to do just that through a special single-service we’re calling “A Cry to Heaven” on Sunday, October 27th at 10am. Please make it a priority to come and be a part of this historical moment in our church and invite people to come with you.

Upcoming Events:

Tonight (Friday the 11th) is the premier of The 1916 Project at RCC. This is a very powerful and informative film on how we, as a nation, have made the abortion issue our priority, and what we need to do to turn the ship around in honoring God, and His biblical values and precepts. I hope you’ll make it!

  • Pepe’s Tacos 5 – 7pm

  • Movie at 7pm (including kids’ movies)

RCC Fall Festival at RCC on October 31st at 6pm – 8pm. Kids, bring your parents and grandparents to this night of fun, food, fellowship. We’ll have a Chili Cook-off, games, hayride and so much more!
Adults: We’re looking for servants to help run games! Can you help? Sign up this Sunday in the lobby or sign up now online.

Shop-Talk Sunday, October 20th @ 9am. Come here the history of our church-plant; how we got started, where we are now, and where we believe God is taking us to spread the Gospel as we go and make disciples. Sign up online

We are living in some exciting and sobering days. Stay connected to God and the church and stay in the Word.

May the Lord bless you, and may we bless the Lord!

Pastor Ben
