For the past several months we’ve studied the life of Joseph – From Pit to Palace – and witnessed God’s providential hand on each person in the captivating story. God is always at work in front of us, in spite of, the behind scenes of our lives.
This weekend we will see the Blessings After the Storm in Jacob’s family. God blesses Joseph’s obedience and integrity; Jacob’s life of faithfulness; and the nation – His chosen – He’s promised to multiply in both number and influence. I hope to see you with Bibles in hand, and a smile on our faces. God is so faithful and so very good!
This weekend in our series, called From Pit to Palace – The Life of Joseph, we’ll see Jacob’s response to learning that his long-lost son is alive. He recognizes God’s hand in moving Joseph to Egypt to save people, including the small nation of Israel, from the world-wide famine. When things look hopeless, it’s important to remember that God is both good and faithful. The message this week is titled, “The Wisdom of a Grandfather”. I hope you can join us in-person or online!
Thank You, Lord, for the opportunity to challenge so many people with Your Word of Truth in these trying times! We now have 168 people registered for I.C.A.N. (Idaho Christian Action Network)! We’re excited to see how God will move in the hearts of our legislators as we encourage them through our prayers and phone calls to vote biblically. If you haven’t registered yet, you can click here to do so: https://www.restoredcommunitychurch.org
We are so excited for Back To Church Weekend! The weekend corresponds with our nation’s Constitution Sunday. This year my heart is heavy for the direction our country is headed. So many people seem to have forgotten how God and our Bible has shaped America from its foundations. Former President Obama stated that “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation.” Whatever we once were…
In our Study of Joseph this week we will see the 10 brothers + Benjamin return to Egypt in search of the much-needed grain that was necessary to survive during the world-wide famine. On their first trip, they bowed before their brother Joseph without recognizing him. Joseph knew them immediately, although he set out to test their hearts…
This weekend we’ll see the grand reunion between Joseph and his brothers. Imagine the intrigue of Joseph’s brothers coming to him in dire need, and he recognized them, but they didn't recognize their little brother whom they threw into a pit and sold off to slavery! WOW!
Thank you for supporting the work that God is doing here in Idaho through Restored Community Church. Your generosity expands our capacity to reach the lost with the Gospel and allows us to train up more people to live godly and powerful lives for God’s glory. We continue to strive towards our financial goal for the year-end giving to our new Restored Life Center building. As the year draws closer to an end, please consider giving a special gift to this growing ministry…
…we left Joseph in prison! But the Lord was with him and the story of how God used this godly young man is truly inspiring! I hope you can join us for one of our 4 services…
